The Society for Creative Anachronism is an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating the middle ages, 600-1600 BC.

An anachronism is something out of place in time - like a night in shining armour wearing running shoes. And there is no word that better describes what we do.

There are groups that meet in most major cities across North America, as well as groups in England, South Africa, and Australia.
